"Napa has been blessed with back to back extraordinary vintages, and we have a few special bottles from elite producers in store now. We get very few of each of these coveted wines, so if you see something you like, don’t wait too long! 97 Points James Suckling
96 Points Wine Spectator

$349.99
Only 24 bottles available
98 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is blended of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot and was bottled in August 2018. Deep garnet-purple colored, it bursts out of the glass with exotic spice notes of star anise, fenugreek and cumin seed over a core of blackberry pie, wild blueberries and warm cassis with hints of kirsch, cigar box and mocha plus a waft of smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with vibrant black, blue and red fruits plus tons of spicy sparks, framed by wonderfully ripe, fine-grained tannins and beautiful freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Drink: 2022 – 2052" – Lisa Perrotti-Brown (December 2018)

97 Points James Suckling: "This is very tight and precise with dark berries, dark chocolate, spice and hints of hazelnuts. Full body and a solid center palate. Lots of sage, rosemary, and lavender. Beautiful balance. Fine finish. Very approachable now, but better after 2022." – James Suckling (February 2019)

96 Points Wine Spectator: "Richly layered, with ripe and caressing cassis, plum preserves, boysenberry reduction and açaí berry fruit flavors. There's a chocolate backdrop and alluring toast notes throughout, with a subtle graphite edge on the very fine-grained finish to keep this red honest. A beautiful display of fruit and very Oakville in style. Drink now through 2035." – James Molesworth (October 2019)

2015 Shafer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select Stags Leap District
98 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
98 Points James Suckling
95+ Antonio Galloni, Vinous

$314.99
Only 30 bottles available
98 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select comes bounding out of the glass with gregarious scents of crème de cassis, warm black cherries, plum preserves and Indian spices with hints of lilacs, garrigue, stewed tea and cigar box plus a waft of charcuterie. Full-bodied, rich, boldly fruited and wildly decadent, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing with loads of earthy and savory layers. Drink: 2021 – 2050" – Lisa Perrotti-Brown (December 2018)

98 Points James Suckling: "There’s an intensely ripe, fresh and vibrant edge to this focused, elegant and assertively pure cabernet that delivers attractive blueberry and cassis aromas in stylish form. The palate arrives as a precise and focused suite of ripe blueberry and blackberry flavors, building smoothly to an attractively crisp and even-paced finish. Another superb edition of this wine. Drink or hold." – James Suckling (October 2018)

95+ Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is dense, powerful and exotically ripe, with copious chocolate, crème de cassis, new leather, smoke and licorice overtones. Unctuous and intense, the 2015 has turned out quite well. The richness of the tiny berries of 2015 comes through in the wine's fruit and tannin intensity. There is a real sense of gravitas to the 2015, although the somewhat larger-scale tannins will likely always be a part of the wine's DNA. Drink: 2022 – 2035" – Antonio Galloni (December 2018)

2016 Memento Mori Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
99 Points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
$224.99
Only 12 bottles available
99 Points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Las Piedras vineyards, Oakville Ranch vineyard and Weitz vineyard, aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it reveals stunning scents of crème de cassis, wild blueberries, blackberry compote and dried mulberries with hints of Chinese five spice, spearmint and unsmoked cigars with a waft of cedar chest. Full-bodied, with a rock-solid structure of firm, super ripe tannins plus seamless freshness, it finishes very long with provocative mineral accents. Drink: 2021 – 2045" – Lisa Perrotti-Brown (December 2018)

98 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is deep purple-black in color and offers an incredible perfume of lilacs, black truffles, violets and menthol over a core of cassis, mulberries and warm plums plus a waft of tobacco leaf. The palate is full-bodied and built like a brick house with very firm, very ripe tannins and oodles of freshness cutting through the earthy layers, finishing very long. Drink: 2021 – 2049" – Lisa Perrotti-Brown (December 2018)

97+ Points Jeb Dunnuck:
"Lots of pine forest, savory herbs, California bay leaf, and both black and blue fruits emerge from the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain. It’s another full-bodied, singular wine from Chris that’s perfectly balanced, with beautiful concentration and the purity and balance that’s the hallmark of this great vintage. Short-term cellaring will be the name of the game here and it will be long-lived. Anticipated maturity: 2021-2046." – Jeb Dunnuck (January 2019)

96 Points James Suckling: "I have not had many Howell Mountain cabernets like this with crushed blackberry and blueberry character. Nuanced. Full-bodied and extremely fine-textured. It goes on for minutes. Greatness." – James Suckling (February 2019)

96 Points Wine Spectator:
"Features a deep well of cassis, steeped blackberry and warmed plum reduction flavors at the core, slowly unwinding to reveal steaks of graphite, alder and smoldering tobacco on the finish. Muscular but defined, with a deep tug of earth, this should cruise in the cellar. Best from 2024 through 2042." – James Molesworth (2019)
