Product Description

“This is truly a special event and the Wine House’s first Virtual Reality vineyard tour! Three of Northern Italy’s leading wineries are participating in this unique evening of wines and vineyards, led by a representative from each estate. Many of us have done vineyard tours and I have been fortunate to visit all three wineries participating this evening, but I have never experienced anything like this before. Virtual Reality headsets provide aerial views and perspectives that are utterly amazing and immersive. The experience includes tasting nine amazing wines – three from each producer. This is a unique and exciting event, and there is extremely limited capacity!” – Lance Montalto, The Wine House

Silvio is recognized as helping revolutionize white wine in Italy by introducing numerous innovations throughout the winemaking process. His forward thinking paired with Jermann’s high quality 100% estate grown wines, have put Friuli on the world wine map. Now Jermman’s wines, long sought out for their purity of fruit, complexity and intense minerality, are found on some of the most prestigious wine lists in the world. They are intenationally celebrated as the benchmark for Italian white wines.

Jermann was founded in 1881 in the quiet village of Villanova di Farra by Austrian-born Anton Jermann. Today, the winery is led by Silvio Jermann, grandson of Anton, and Silvio’s son Michele.

RATTI
Renato Ratti is hailed internationally as the benchmark producer of classic La Morra Barolo, crafting wines celebrated as the finest true expressions of one of Barolo’s most prestigious communes. Led by Pietro Ratti, son of founder and iconic visionary Renato Ratti, the winery continues to meld innovation, tradition and a singular dedication to its superlative vineyards. The result is wines heralded worldwide for their finesse, grace and expressive elegance. The Rattis were among the pioneers of single vineyard Barolos, and today the winery’s renowned single vineyard Barolos, Conca and Rocche dell’Annunziata, are internationally applauded for their unsurpassed terroir-driven complexity and depth. Ratti’s Barolo Marcenasco is acclaimed by the world’s top critics as one Barolo’s most outstanding wines.

Founder Renato Ratti is celebrated as the great visionary of Barolo.
