Winemaker Notes

It is a dark red color with a purple hue. On the nose, this wine has a mixture of red fruit and hay aromas along with hints of leather or game. To the palate it is smooth and has flavors of cherry, red current and liquorice. It also has animal aromas.

This wine comes from a blend of Niellucio, Sciacarello, Syrah, and Grenache. Maceration time, during which temperatures are constantly checked, is short, giving the wine fruit and lightness. It is matured for six months in a stainless steel vat, before bottling. It is to be enjoyed young.

A blend of 35% Niellucciu, 30% Grenache, 15% Sciaccarellu, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre.
