Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 91 points
“The irreverent red 2018 El Porrón de Lara was disqualified by the Ribera del Duero appellation and is sold as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León because they said they picked some green grapes! The wine is 13.2% alcohol, produced with Tempranillo from their organic and biodynamic vineyards picked at two different times, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete and barrel for 15 months. It has a "natural" profile, bottled unfiltered, unclarified and with no added sulfur. It has a characterful and expressive nose, young and fresh, fluid and dry, with chalky tannins and a supple and very tasty finish. Drink Dates 2021 – 2024.” – Luis Gutierrez
